Maria Ochoa

Hi All!

I am deeply interested in education and have always enjoyed school and helping others. I had a 4.0 in high school and was an honors student at UNC-Chapel Hill where I received my bachelor's of science. I am now working on a Master's degree in finance from Harvard.

I have a passion for access to education and believe it can be fun for every student. I have worked with students K-12 and at UNC. My goal is for every student to feel confident and excited about their own journey in education. Along with working with parents as a team to best help the student.

I am best equipped to help with math through Calc II, Chemistry through Orgo II, English at any level and ESL. I am bilingual, fluent in Spanish. Lastly, I am experienced and love working with students applying to college whether it's on test prep, personal essays, or any other part of the process. Cannot wait to meet!
