I am so happy to be here at tutors.com. As a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, I have my Bachelor of Arts in English and am highly qualified as a tutor in Language Arts, secondary grades, sixth through twelfth. I also have obtained my Master of Arts in Teaching with an endorsement in English from Liberty University in Lynchburg.

I believe in improvement and development of natural gifts. With this opportunity, I hope to bolster again that flame that sparks creativity and enjoyment in learning.

Not only do I enjoy aiding learners in prepping for interactive formative and summative assessments, but I also define how important grammar and syntax are in both reading and writing. In tutoring, I embrace the importance of reading and writing with purpose, line of reasoning, clarity, and organization, especially with my training in AP Language & Composition. Within the application itself, I like to incorporate multiple intelligences, preferred modes of learning, differentiated learning abilities, with respect for socioeconomic and cultural needs, which allow me to apply a broad range of strategies to my clients.

Most importantly, I encouraged self-confidence in those I come into contact with and promote life-long learners.
