Hello everyone! I am currently an English teacher teaching 9th and 11th grade. I am licensed to teach 6-12 English Language Arts in the state of North Carolina, however, I have experience working with students K-12.
The most rewarding part about being a teacher/tutor is the "lightbulb" moments when everything finally clicks with a student!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I begin by giving diagnosis assessments to understand the students strengths and weaknesses. From there, I use the data collected to create a curriculum that best addresses the students areas of needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a second year English Language Arts teacher. Last year I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade ELA and this year I am teaching 9th and 11th grade ELA. I am licensed to teach 6-12 ELA in the state of North Carolina.
