I have been working in public schools for eight years and continue the need of a little hit of extra push in some students. I love helping Elementary students because that is the foundation. I have great organizational skills and fun, creative ways to tutor. To see the progress students make after I start working with them makes my heart so happy.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked with middle school kids for the last eight years as a teacher assistant and most recently a teacher assistant at an elementary school.
How did you get started teaching?
Started as a substitute. I am also a Register Behavior Tech.
What types of students have you worked with?
General education to special needs.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A student I worked with the last two years went onto high school and I get frequent emails from him wishing I was at the school he is at so I could help him.
