I am a retired educator with over 20 years of experience as a K-12 certified elementary teacher and a K-12 certified school counselor. I have a master's degree in Professional Counseling.

My standard price per session per subject area is $50 per hour.

My first job as a teenager was teaching at a library after school. I also taught adults who could not read as a stay at home mother. I home schooled my daughter and I volunteered my time at her school to assist the teacher. When my children were old enough I went to college my first major was education. I had such a passion to help children I wanted to be more preventative in my approach to understand human behavior so I majored in sociology. However, with my background and education my first career opportunity after graduation was as a teacher. So I realized teaching is my passion and I later received an opportunity to teacher character education as a school counselor. However after approximately 18 years, I was given another opportunity to return to teaching. Therefore, I went full circle and retired as a teacher just before the full effect of COVID. I still have a passion and love for teaching.
