Excellerate Education

Hi, I'm Troy! My story is one of inspiration. I was raised in Calif. Where I was educated in the streets of So.Central Los Angeles, and education was NOT a top priority, but I got one. However, after moving East to Maryland, things changed for me. I met a Congressman that had a problem with gangs in his district. So me coming from the streets of L.A. I was familiar and wanted to help. I became a "professional mentor"and teacher for "at risk youth". These were youth at-risk is everything from failing in school too joining street gangs. I was also a Keynote speaker for several years in some of the toughest schools in Baltimore. I was eventually asked to become the consultant for a stageplay about My Life called "The Birth of Peace" (go figure?). Several years later I suffered a medical emergency which left me paralyzed. But did I let that keep me down NO! It made me stronger. I worked hard to learn to speak and to read and to even WALK Again! Eventually I went back to college to further my education. Already and engineer and a chef, I decided to become a specialist in IT engineering. Now as such, I now have the drive even moreso to help young people having difficulties scholastically and to help them achieve, why? Because we CAN! And together we WILL EXCEL IN EDUCATION.
