ACT / SAT Test Prep
About
Whether taking the exam for the first time or trying to improve your score, I’ll customize a study program to help you achieve your goals. Learn the specific test concepts, know what types of questions get repeated from exam to exam, master test-taking techniques and time management. The ACT and SAT are quite different; I know them both very well.
Personalized 1-on-1 tutoring to help students:
• review English, Critical Reading, Math (and Science for the ACT) sections
• master the concepts
• improve confidence
• learn testing strategies specific to the ACT and the SAT
Don’t pay remote corporate tutoring companies upwards of $150/hour for tutoring packages or $1,600 for group classes on THEIR schedule. Motivated students can learn a lot of material on their own and don’t need to sit in classes where moderators must teach rote material geared toward the slowest learner in the room.
I'll customize a program to fit your schedule and budget. YOU determine how many sessions, with no upfront costs, no long-term obligation, and tutoring on YOUR time frame with a customized study schedule for each student. More cost effective and personalized than the larger test prep companies.
Choose between:
• Set scheduled sessions – typical programs are six-weeks long with daily assignments (reading and problem solving) and one 1-1 tutoring session per week, either in-person or online
• Ad-hoc tutoring – get tutoring as needed on a particular subject area
Put my years of experience to work for you. No obligation consultation and introduction. Complementary scored ACT or SAT test before tutoring starts to establish your baseline and set your goals.
