Hello! My name is Trisha Smith-Clinkscales ~ In the past 4 years, I have been an English I/II Co-Teacher, ECS High School Teacher, and a CCR High School Teacher for the Wake County Public School System. I have taken a step back to an OCS Instructional Assistant teaching English, Reading, and Math. I have been a Preschool Teacher Assistant while a stay-at-home mom with my son and daughter for 20-plus years. My hyperactive son graduated from NC Wesleyan in 2021. My daughter, who struggled with reading in Kindergarten, graduated from Carnegie Mellon in 2022. I believe that adaptability and patience are important qualities in a tutor. With my personal and professional background working with learning disabilities, this is an area that I consider to be one of my strengths.
