I am a sophmore at the University of South Carolina studying Chemical Engineering. I have been tutoring kids in math and chemistry for the past 6 years and absolutley love it! Math and science is something I think everyone should be able to understand! I have tutored all ages from preschool to freshman in college!
I love math and science and I want other kids to learn to love it ass much as I do! The look on kids faces when they finally understand how to do a problem is very rewarding to me and I know the kids feel the same way!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically when I am online I will skype, zoom, or facetime a student once we set up a meeting. I prefer a student or parent reach out to me to set up a time and a format for tutoring. I think 45-60 minute sessions work best but it is all up to the student and the parent with how much help they need. I usually try to help students with their homework by teaching them a few ways to look at a problem in the hopes that one method will stick over the others. If the student does not have homework or wants extra work I have access to many worksheets we can do together!
