Former College Prof- Chemistry, Math, Science

I am a former college professor with experience teaching and tutoring spanning two decades. I have a BS Chemistry degree with mathematics minor and a Master’s degree in Applied Physical Sciences, both from Georgia Southern University. I also have additional graduate level coursework in organic chemistry, although I chose not to finish pursuing a PhD so I could start a family. I have experience teaching and tutoring in several areas, including general chemistry, organic chemistry, and numerous areas of mathematics- including algebra, number theory, and statistics and probability- both high school and college (and even graduate) level. The fact that I am also a mom makes me an ideal tutor for anyone of any age, as I am able to tailor explanations and tutoring rigor to fit students of any age. I am great at communicating and am able to quickly adapt to changing needs with new strategies in order to provide the best possible instruction to you or your student.
