Sam's Social Studies Tutoring

Hello! My name is Sam. I'm a recent college graduate from the University of Georgia who is passionate about serving others. I've been enthusiastic about social studies, history, and literature since I was a child. As such, I took every AP course I could in high school (12 in total) and majored in Political Science and International Affairs in college. Due to my array of experiences, I am qualified to tutor in the fields of reading, history, literature, and other social studies. I can also help you, or your child, succeed with AP exams! My style is investigative, whereby I guide those I tutor to form their own insights, discoveries, and intutions. There is a constant two-way stream of communcation. Students do enough listening in school; I encourage them to talk so I can understand where the problems lie. Reach out if you have any questions!

I love watching the "lightbulb" go off in a child's head and the subsequent smile when they have made a new discovery. I hope to instill a joy of learning in all those I tutor.
