About
As a current college student, I have worked as a tutor both in the college sphere as well as high school. I have worked with students from grades 4-12, specializing in literature/english but also working with science and math students. After getting to know the student and understanding where they are struggling as well as how they learn, I work to create a simplistic lesson plan with attainable goals for each session. I have worked with students who struggle with learning disabilities and I work my hardest to help them find strategies and solutions to assist themselves in their learning.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I love getting to know the student in order to understand how they learn. Some students need repetation in order to grasp a concept while others need real world relations in order to fully comprehend a topic! When a tutor knows how the student learns it allows for fruitful sessions and postive changes in the student's learning patterns.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a high school senior who has extra time due to online schooling! I have been on honor roll my entire high school career and am apart of the National Honor Society! My best subjects are English, Literature and History however I am also able to help in most sciences! I have been accepted into my top colleges including Clemson University! I am free most afternoons and evenings with notice!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Depending on the session, my starting price is $12 an hour however this is most definitely negotiable. For higher level classes, high school or honors, I ask $20 depending on the student. Please feel free to reach out for a better estimate in regard to session pricing!
How did you get started teaching?
I have been a tutor since my sophmore year in high school. I started out helping sixth graders with math and english. I have also been a tutor in Chemistry, Latin (levels 1-4), American English, Ancient Literature, Ancient History, American History and Environmental Science. I have a really deep comprehension for most subjects and can usually accommodate students in any classes they need help with. If the class your student needs assistance in is not listed please reach out and I will work with you as much as possible!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students grades; sixth, seventh, ninth, tenth and eleventh. Some of these students were honor roll students that needed a little assistance in a class and others were struggling overall and needed help in multiple classes.
