About
I really believe in a personalised approach. The problem with education these days is that it's a cookie-cutter method. Figuring out the best way to teach kids is more important than making kids figure out how you teach.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I like to see where the student is in their studies. Then, I usually figure out what their learning style is - the VARK is a useful tool. Then I will sit down with the student and parent, figure out their goals, and create a plan for moving forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences, am currently working on an MBA, and I am applying to pharmacy school.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching (in general) competitive traditional Greek dance at my church my freshman year of college. That turned into tutoring some of my dancers, and eventually other students who needed help.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who will work with your learning style, not force you into learning their way of teaching - otherwise you end up just teaching yourself anyways.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How do I learn?
I personally learn best when I hear things and already have lecture slides in front of me so I don't have to scramble to write everything down. My classmate learns by flashcards. Everyone has their own style.
