MATH

In some cases, the soroban abacus is also used to enhance elementary understanding of ones, tens and hundreds.

READING

Can take your child from hating to read to reading with confidence. We require parental reinforcement of the reading skills taught.

Eat Play Think, LLC - If you are looking us up on social media, we have different arms of the business. You could speak to us there as well.

Be Well.

Watching children increase their math and reading knowledge based off of what we have worked on.

Watching a K-2 child react to understanding the SOROBAN (Japanese abacus). I use this tool in my reinforcement of place values. (I suggest parents purchase a cheap one in order to move forward with the adding/subtracting process.)

First lesson is normally at least 2 hours long. We need to do a deep dive into what is the “block” in their learning capabilities. $60 for first lesson! Pricing will depend on several factors including their teacher’s report.
With it being the second half of the school year, most of my recent students are grades 1-4 for math and reading. I can’t express enough how important it is to explain to me the questions I ask about their environment at home and at school.
Taught the abacus to a 2nd grader who hated math. And now his grades have gone from Approaching level to Meeting Level in mathematics. Meanwhile another child who is in grade 3… I have been teaching her for 2 years. She went from repeating the 2nd grade (when I came to her) to her average test score of 98% in Mathematics. Also she is now reading at a S level on the F&P scale.
