About
We are a group of dedicated tutors who love helping others improve. For over 15 years we have been practicing our craft and have decided to branch out to as many students as possible. It is with great passion and dedication we personalize your lessons to meet you where you are, academically. There is nothing we cannot handle together!
My favorite part of tutoring is teaching students how to build a personal relationship between him/herself and academics. I actually enjoy learning too. I have never taught and not learned something new from a student. My knowledge is vast, and I find it important to share my knowledge with as many students as possible. Follow me on FB @geeseinarow

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When meeting a new family/individual, first I discuss goals and give a bit of an assessment based upon the desires of the student. I share a bit about my past, my education, and how I feel I can best help. I like to plan a schedule to make the most of our time together. Last, I create an individualized plan which is important to ensure student success.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started my education prior to graduating high school! Attending college was a great experience for me. My first courses were history and psychology. Upon graduation I started fulltime in college. I have a BA in English literature, and I have a MS in Gerontology (the science of the aging body!)
Once I graduated from school with my BA in English, I began teaching English at the collegiate level, high school, and for the local GED program for the next 7 years. Simultaneously, I attended school for my Master's and worked for the university for the next 5 years both writing and editing as a student employee. Teaching and tutoring privately have always been my get away from public work!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from an array of backgrounds. Living in the city and teaching at a local college, I met students from multiple ethnic backgrounds. Teaching English as a Second Language is amazing. I learn so much from other cultures!
Working back home, in what is a much smaller town, but still quite populated, as it is a military town, I have taught classes at the college. The mix of newly high school graduates, and military veterans is a diverse mix! I have taught specialty courses for business English, and I have built a curricula for professional marketing and taught in private companies as well.
