I am a seasoned educator. I have over fourty years of, enjoyable, experience with ages three to twelve. I began, as a volunteer, with Head start, in 1972. Being a parent feuled my desire to receive my English degree. I enjoyed, nearly, thirty years in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School district. After retirement,, I continue to teach in private facilities. I intend on teaching, for the rest of my life. I am rewarded, daily, by the smiles, on children's faces as they realize their dreams. My name is Antoinette Seymore when I was in the 6 grade I had a reading problem. My teacher told my mother I need to read every day. Reading was boring to me. So, what I did I look for books that was interesting. I like to build the child confidence. Also I reward a child for doing excellent. I believe in all children they need to put in there mind they can do it. First boundaries must be discussed and in place for the parents students and me. I like to give the students a skid or have the child act it out to me . I will give the child vocabulary word, homework.
