Ana Velasco-Cruz

As a current college student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel hill and recent graduate with an associates degree in psychology, all materials studied in English classes and fine arts are something I am proficient in. I have tutored forge in languages in high school and was a peer mentor during my first two years of college. As a tutor, I get to know my students better to create a sense of trust and confidence. This way my student can feel comfortable telling me when we need to slow down or step it up a notch. I also allow my student to take control of how we learn, that be through games, conversations, homework or anything that is doable. I encourage parents of you get kids to be involved as parents can always provide support, guidance and feedback on what works and what doesn’t ! I am excited to get to know you and hope we can work together soon !
