About

My name is Jessica Loverdi and I am an education major, special education minor, and concentration in english and writing. I have been working with students of all grades and ages for a very long time. I was an Ed Tech II and working with students in small groups or one on one with different subjects. I came up with fun and engaging ways to learn new strategies and methods. I love watching the faces and excitement of students when they finally understand a new concept that they may not have understood before. I strive to see students succeed in the new skills that they will learn from me!

    Frequently asked questions

First, I want to get to know my student. I would like to know their likes, dislikes, and see what they think their strengths and weaknesses are. Once I know these things I can begin making lessons based on the information I have collected. I will have hands on activities and othe differentiated ways to learn all of the skills necessary before moving onto the next topic.

I graduated with an elementary education degree, minor in special education, and concentration in English. I was also an Ed Tech II.

I have wanted to be a teacher all my life because my dad was a teacher and some of the teachersI had growing up as well. I started off volunteering and working at summer camps and then became and ED Tech II. I will be a teacher in a Pre-K this year and could not be more happy.

I have worked with students with general education, special education, learning disabilities, and more but these are the main types of students I have worked with in the classroom in large group, small group, and one on one.

Look for someone who is passionate about helping you succeed in learning new concepts or old ones. It is okay to not understand something as long as you try your best. Fnd someone who puts you and your learning styles first or finds a way to incorporate it into lessons.

Think about what your needs are so that way your teacher can focus on those concepts.
