What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If a student is under 18 and parents are responsible for payment. I talk to the parent and the student to determine student's strengths and challenges. It is also important for me to personally communicate information about who I am to new clients to assist in making vital connections with them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS degree in Biology.
I have a Masters Degree in Biology Education.
I have a Masters Degree in School Administration.
I have an EdD in Educational Leadership.

$35.00 per hour is my standard pricing for tutoring.
How did you get started teaching?
When I recognized that I had a passion for making a difference in the lives of students, I changed my major and decided to get a degree in education. I immediately started teaching after getting my certification.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students in grades 3-12. I have also worked with students at the collegiate level.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I enjoy graduation ceremonies on all levels where parents and students are elated about their accomplishments. Even though the events were virtual this year, the completion of an educational endeavor brings me joy.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Please be honest in identifying your strengths and challenges and have a positive attitude about learning.
