Hello, I'm Aly! I graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. After college, I worked at UCLA conducting psychological research and serving as a teaching assistant for several courses including Introduction to Health Psychology, Advanced Honors Seminar for Health Psychology, and Research Methods in Health Psychology where I gave guest lectures, created exam questions, and graded papers. As a teaching assistant, I held office hours as a safe space for students to bring any questions they had. I am also experienced in tutoring college level writing. Specifically, I am well-versed in providing feedback on college application essays, graduate school application essays, scientific papers, and other papers for classes.

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology and tutor when I'm not in school! The approach I take to tutoring typically involves identifying areas for improvement by meeting each student where they are in their academic journey.
