I am a native speaker, Spanish is the first language I ever talked so I am extremely fluent. I love to teach children a second language because I think it's very important for them to develop new skills from a very young age. I will help my students to understand the Spanish language by using games, charts, images, cards, everything that could be needed for a young kid to be involved and focused in learning a new language. I would make it interesting and easy for them. I have assisted a Spanish teacher during my high school years and together we helped many children, so I have experience in a classroom.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually like to have a conversation with them, see if they have a little bit of experience with the language. By talking with the students, I understand what their needs are and I would have a better plan for their studies.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I usually charge $50 per hour; that is my flat rate but I can negotiate with the parents and make out a plan for their payments.
How did you get started teaching?
I've always a passion for teaching the language that I love. I started teaching English to my high school's international students and then I started assisting the Spanish teacher at my high school.

I have worked with middle and high school students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't be shy if you're language skills are poor, that's why we are here to help you out with any type of problems you may have, whether it is speaking the language, writing it, or comprehending when someone is talking to you.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Try to think what is that you want to perfect in that language. For example, if you are trying to go into business and want to have a second language in order to be more likely to get hired, we can focus on conversations with customers, food-related items, etc. So, ask yourself what it is that you really need from the language and talk to your teacher about it.
