Hi, I'm Daniel, college graduate and certified tutor! I have 4 years of experience working at a local community college in their tutoring department/center. I tutored mostly writing students and English to a wide range of people, including ESL students. I also tutored a little biology, A&P, public speaking, and computers as well. I am CRLA certified Level 3, which is the highest tutoring certification you can reach in that program. I enjoy helping people with their English and writing skills, as well as helping to reach their educational goals. I am willing to meet over email or phone, or over the Internet. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically contact them, listen to what they would like to do, read what they have written so far (or brainstorm with them if they are at the beginning of writing a paper, which is totally fine!), and come up with a plan to together reach their goals as well as help them progress as a student!
