Mr. Darnell's Science Tutoring

With six years of teaching experience and both high school and college level tutoring experience, I am able to offer personalized, high-quality tutoring services tailored to individual student needs for all core scientific courses. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, enabling me to apply both content-specific knowledge and current, research-based pedagogy to ensure that all of my students are successful. As a high school Biology and Chemistry teacher, I have consistently demonstrated student growth through dramatic improvements on state-mandated Eond of Course test scores, and I am confident that I can help any student improve his or her performance in science courses through regular one-on-one tutoring sessions.
