Dr. T Tutors

I hold a PhD in Educational Leadership and Administration, but I never want to forget the thrill of helping students learn at every level! I am passionate about helping students reach their goals and dreams through increased knowledge, experience, and skills. I have worked for 10 years in the elementary classroom, teaching grades 1, 4, 5, and 6. I also have over eight years of experience with online learning and helping my students feel a connection with the teacher and material, which is essential for strong and consistent improvement. I love math but successfully teach foundational reading and English to my online students. Science and STEM opportunities are also important to me as I can bring the understanding of these critical thinking skills needed to advance. My tutoring style is built on engaging and interactive lessons. I use realia, demonstrations, games, songs, and visual techniques to reach the student at every level. It is important to me to listen to the student to find the right approach to engage and enlighten the learner.
