Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I will see where they're at by giving them a few questions relating to what they're doing and seeing their process. From here, I can see what's holding them up and work on it from there. After this we can work on the material/schoolwork as it's needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 2 years of teaching experience, and degrees in physics and mathematics. I also have not always found these subjects easy and can better empathize with students who are struggling with them.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I generally charge $40/hour for a tutoring session. I am open to flexibility for people who cannot afford this, but I also need to be paid fairly for my time.
