Hello,

I am Dr. Allen with a Bachelor's Degree and Certified in Elementary Education, a Master's in School Administration, and Doctorate in Educational Leadership. I have taught for 30-plus years at the elementary and college levels. I enjoy developing reading, writing, and critical thinking skills for every age. I am very aware of making learning fun for each student and being flexible in my delivery of instruction to ascertain the correct steps to lead to excellent results. Assessing the student is very important at first to determine their learning style by using different surveys. Once that is complete, I use the data to develop the appropriate activities and lessons to succeed. My expertise is developing skills to excel in reading and writing, whether answering questions or writing an essay. To achieve this and other goals, I am constantly assessing activities to build the appropriate skills to establish a foundation for success in all areas. These skills will encompass many literary elements and critical thinking skills to enhance learning. Finally, I use Student Success Coaching methods to ascertain and cement success skills for any subject matter. I know that part of the student's success is allowing the parents' involvement, and I welcome the parents to participate as often as possible.
