I am a current college student studying Media & Journalism with a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. I am quite practiced in reading and writing and have tutored elementary age children with English and reading/writing skills. I will ensure that your child gets the lesson learning and practice they need to achieve their goals in this area. I have also peer-reviewed a number of essays and am willing to work with children of all ages with essay writing practice and editing as well.

With my background in Linguistics, i.e. the study of how languages work, I understand how to learn and how to teach languages. I currently study and regularly use 5 languages in my graduate work at the University of Oxford. I completed my undergrad at Duke University with a double major in Classics (i.e. Latin and Greek) and in Linguistics, earning summa cum laude, double highest honors, and Phi Beta Kappa (junior year election).
