Xander Booker

Hi! My name is Xander, and I’m a patient, encouraging tutor with a passion for helping younger students build confidence in school. I specialize in elementary homework help — especially in reading, writing, math, and organization skills.

I just finished my freshman year at Louisburg College, and I’m currently preparing for a gap year focused on service, travel, and language learning. During this time, I’m excited to continue working with students and helping them feel more confident and successful in school.

I’ve worked with kids in a variety of settings, and I love finding creative ways to explain things so students actually understand — not just get the right answer. Whether it’s breaking down a tricky word problem or helping them stay focused during homework time, my goal is to make learning feel less overwhelming and more empowering.

Unfortunately right now I am healing from surgery on my foot, so traveling will be a little challenging until July 20th. But after that I will be back on my feet!

I’m available for flexible, remote sessions and can adjust to what your child needs — whether it’s regular weekly help or just some extra support before a test or project.
