Hello, Gentle Learner! I’m Preston Hubble, a Chemical Engineer by background, but well-versed in many aspects of STEM subjects - long before there was such a term. I have plenty of background and knowledge in math, engineering, technology and science. But my most valuable asset to share with you is my teaching style. “Patience” is my middle name, metaphorically, but I know how to explain concepts in easy-to-learn terms. I also excel at picking up my student’s learning styles in order to maximize the value of our time together - while avoiding as much frustration. I love helping students get past mental blocks and gain confidence in math and science skills. I find I can do this by connecting the student with the concept through the student's other interests and subjects where the student already feels confident.
