About
I am an expert tutor with over 8 years of tutoring experience from tutoring high school physics to college level physics. I graduated from Cornell University, an ivy-league university in physics. I am currently studying in a physics-related field for my PhD. I get along with students well and have personally taken many HS/college level physics courses recently so I am able to understand the material deeply.
I enjoy helping my students understand complex topics in physics by distilling them down to pattern recognition tasks. I am of firm belief that with enough practice, my students will be able to succeed in physics class.
I love to see how my students are able to gradually improve their problem-solving skills.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
On the first session with a student, I will spend the few10 minutes to get to know them as an individual, assess their current standing in the course, and design a plan of action to get the student from their current understanding to their desired understanding and beyond. Since each student is starting from a different place in life and has a completely unique learning style, I will adapt accordingly and customize the teaching process in order to suit those needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 500 hundred hours in tutoring. I am an ivy league graduate with a physics degree and am currently at Duke for a physics-related PhD.
