Guided Pathways Learning

I provide individualized tutoring and academic support grounded in my experience as a special education educator. I am currently an elementary resource teacher, with a background spanning preschool, elementary, and middle school settings across Massachusetts, Florida, Maryland, and Hawaii. My work has included supporting students in preschool special education classrooms, self-contained programs, day treatment settings for students with significant social-emotional and behavioral needs related to trauma, and structured learning environments for students with autism.

In addition to my classroom experience, I have extensive tutoring experience across a wide range of ages and learning needs. I also completed Orton-Gillingham training for adults through the City of Baltimore, strengthening my ability to provide structured, multisensory literacy instruction. My focus is on building foundational skills, closing learning gaps, and helping students grow in confidence and independence.

As a military spouse and mother of four—including children with learning disabilities and attention challenges who are now independent, successful young adults—I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work with families. I understand the importance of meeting students where they are and providing consistent, compassionate support.

My tutoring approach is structured, supportive, and relationship-based, designed to help each learner feel capable and successful while developing the skills they need to thrive academically and personally.
