“You haven’t lost your Spanish, it just went to sleep. I dare you to wake it up.”
Through all this years I have enjoyed every single part of teaching a Second Language; I tought to all ages, from private to group settings and in all levels; businesses, schools, test focused college students, parents, parents and their kids, travelers, enterpreneurs, ...
Right now my ideal student is someone who already has or has had exposure to Spanish and who wishes to improve or level up their Second Language skills. A student who is currently attending a bilingual school or is planning to attend in the near future. Also accepting students from any age who are looking to mantain or increase their fluency or looking for more challenge.
And most important... somebody committed to themselves to make this learning experince successful!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In our first session we will determine if we are a good fit to each other by seeing what are the student goals, assessing their level and identifying their learning style. From there, we will plan their Spanish experience accordingly to what has been shared during that session. That first session will also help to determine the lenght and the periodicity of the sessions. Also we will be checking in every few weeks to assess if we need any changes on our style to make sure we're always on track for success.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Spanish as a Second Language Teacher (International House Barcelona) 2005

How did you get started teaching?
I first came to the US in 2006 following my partner's dream and I started teaching a few classes without any experience, only with my SSL certification. I fell in love with sharing my language and culture and even though I took a couple breaks from it because my kids needed me when they were little, I always went back to privately teaching.
As I was growing my experience, I decided to get certifified as a Neurolanguage Coach in 2016 to better serve the needs of each student. I am very committed to make them succeed so I needed to go deeper in my knowledge to understand the reasons for some students learning faster or easier than others... That opened a door that made me be very confident on knowing what I was doing and what each student exactly needs in order to succeed in their learning expereince.
Through all this years, some of my students have followed me to a point that we are now good friends. Page, my first student in Charlotte, became my sons' American abuelita!! Isn't it wonderful???
