Elena Samaniego

Hello, I currently graduated in Queens Universityof charlotte and I am pursuing a degree in music therapy. I also am bilingual and can teach basic Spanish speaking and writing. I have taught piano for 5 years and I teach pre k to 5th grade and special needs as well. I love teaching in general especially piano because I love when kids feel that they are being validated in the songs that they choose and it makes me happy to see that playing the piano and teaching them helps them with attention tasks, woth fine motor skills and better academic success. I would definitely have to say my parents always spoke to me in spanish so I also have a passion to teach spanish and I am very patient. I also adapt to the needs of individuals if needed for piano and spanish in general.
