Reading Tutor

I am an experienced literacy teacher. I teach children to read through multisensory phonics lessons. I am positive and encouraging to students, and I help them to improve their confidence as readers and learners. I find out what each child already knows and then use that information to form a plan. I start with teaching letter formation, letter sounds, and phonological awareness.

I enjoy teaching students who are just learning to read and those who are struggling to learn reading. I have ten years of experience teaching first and second grade.
