Sarah Gamble

Hi, my name is Sarah and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I graduated high school third in my class as a Pre-Engineering student, taking AP courses in most subjects. I have spent time as a peer tutor, continually improving my both my skills in each subject while learning how to effectively provide thorough explanations for others. I have learned that different people prefer and respond to different strategies and teaching methods, emphasizing the importance of being adaptable to an individuals’ needs. I aim to provide thorough explanations as to why things happen the way they do and tend to relate equations and theories to real world examples to help make better sense of them. I welcome feedback and will adjust my teaching methods as necessary and I absolutely love watching students understand and gain rewarding results. Most of all, I aim to inspire students to have confidence in their own abilities and provide them with tools to tackle any initially challenging material they may encounter.
