I have been a teacher for over 16 years and have taught grades K-5. I teach Literacy, Math, Science and Social Studies. I also have tutoring experience for over 5 years. I am excited about the opportunity to work with students and provide them with the instruction that they need to be successful! I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Curriculum and Supervision. I have also obtained my National Boards and certification to serve the Gifted and Talented.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I begin with getting to know the student on a personal and academic level in order to build a relationship. Then I learn the academic needs of the child. Finally I create an indivdualized learning plan to support the child in being successful academically and emotionally. I like to help the child to be confident in their learning.
