Mandarin is something I'm passionate about. As a musician, one reason I picked up the language so quickly is that it reminds me of music. I'd love for kids and beginners to do the same.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm American, and I've lived in China for two years! I have experience tutoring elementary and middle-schoolers in Mandarin as well as kids of all ages in theatre, music, and drama. In my Chinese tutoring sessions, we focused on tones and basic greetings, and I even taught my students how to read basic characters. I like to make my Mandarin tutoring fun. There are always lots of games, and I like to incorporate the arts too! Mandarin is something I'm passionate about. As a musician, one reason I picked up the language so quickly is that it reminds me of music. I'd love for kids and beginners to do the same. On my last language exam, I scored a 99 in Reading, a 96 in Listening, and a 91 in Writing. I'd love to teach your kids the basics of Mandarin. Also available for quick homework help and/or summer tutoring to help students prep for the new semester~
