Dorian Henderson, PhD

With a PhD in Microbiology and a BS in Biochemistry, I bring nearly two decades of hands-on laboratory experience in molecular biology to every tutoring session. I have taught laboratory courses in Microbiology and mentored junior scientists in rigorous laboratory practice, giving me direct experience explaining complex biological concepts to students at various levels. More recently, I put my teaching experience to work guiding my own daughter through STEM coursework throughout middle and high school. She is now pursuing a degree in Food Science at NC State, a testament to the foundation we built together.
