Hi! My name is Anna O’Neal, and I’m a former K–12 teacher, professional writer, and children’s book author who loves helping students build confidence in reading and writing. Working with me is supportive, encouraging, and collaborative—I meet students where they are, break skills into manageable steps, and make learning feel achievable rather than overwhelming. I believe every student has a voice worth developing, and I tailor each session to their learning style, interests, and goals. With my classroom experience, deep understanding of literacy development, and real-world writing background, I’m especially skilled at helping students strengthen comprehension, improve writing clarity, and gain confidence that carries into school and beyond. I bring patience, structure, and enthusiasm to every session, and I truly enjoy watching students grow into stronger, more confident readers and writers.
