Hello! My name is Tanay and I am a fourth year applied mathematics and statistics student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have been tutoring for over 7 years in all subjects (with a primary speciality in STEM and test prep subjects). I find the greatest pride in helping students achieve their goals via my tutoring lessons, and I hope to use this site as an avenue to continue my mission!

    I am very pleased with Tanay. I recruited him for my grandson who failed first semester 12 grade math. We have seen a major improvement with Tanay working with him. Tanay corresponds with my grandsons math teacher for upcoming math topics that now allows assignments to be completed ahead of time. The math teacher seems to be impressed with Tanay and his tutoring skills.

    Tanay has been a very helpful tutor throughout my time with him! Before I started meeting with Tanay, I scored in the mid-twenties on both the Reading and Science sections of the ACT. After just a few sessions, I scored above thirty regularly and felt much more confident while taking the ACT. Tanay is also great in many other areas such as ACT math, ACT english, and the core subjects such as calculus. Tanay is extremely thorough, well spoken, and experienced.     A first session with any student is crucial. I find it a time that can be used to better understand the student's goals, and gauge where they stand in the subject at hand. Once this diagnosis is complete, it becomes easier for both parties to work together!
