French Tutoring
About
I am a French student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have tutored children in the past back in Paris, helping them with their homework. I have also taught French to refugees last summer.
I am very excited to share my language with other people and to help you improve. I think that it would also be a great opportunity to learn about each other's cultures.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually use the first lesson to determine what are the strengths and the weaknesses of the student, while taking into account what the student wants to work on the most. After this assessment, we can talk about several ways we both think would be make it more enjoyable to learn, while staying efficient.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I usually do 18$ per hour, and if the students want to take a package of lessons (for example 20 hours), then I make it 16$ per hour.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with children in elementary and middle school. I have also worked with adults (refugees).
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Which element (vocabulary, grammar, accent) is the one I believe is the most important to improve? What are my needs (purely linguistic, academic, professional)?
