Hello there and welcome to my High School and College Essay Tutoring Corner! I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and a minor in English. I am currently at UNC Chapel Hill pursuing a Doctorate Degree at the School of Medicine. I want to help you with your college and high school essays. Sometimes, writer's block happens! Do you need someone to bounce off ideas for college prompts? Are you staring at a prompt and are unsure of where to begin? Are you happy with your essay but need a second set of eyes to look it over? I can be that person!

Frequently asked questions

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I will analyze the essay they have drafted and provide thorough critiques of what parts of the essay should be thought out more, adjust grammatical errors and send the student back a revised version for them to add or rethink some parts of the essay. After that initial send back, where basic errors are fixed I will then go in and manually adjust parts or sections of the essay.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

-Fluent in English and Spanish

-Graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Minor in English

-Doctoral Candidate at UNC School of Medicine

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

The price will depend on the length of the essay and the turnaround time. I typically charge $15-$20 an hour and will let you know how long it will take beforehand. I am happy to work with a flat fee if that works best for you.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with students K-12. I specialize with college admission essays and high school essays but am happy to help middle schoolers as well.
