Passionate about writing and literature, I help students find fun in the English language with a better understanding of how to put words together.
I love the art of storytelling and the way literature can be poetic and powerful. Just as an artist uses paint and brushes to create images, a writer uses a pen and language to create stories. Words are another medium for expressing yourself and I love helping others find new ways of communicating their ideas with the world.

I hold a B.F.A. in Creative Writing with a minor in English.
I've worked for small magazines and have published articles, reviews, and interviews.
Formatting and using correct citations is often a challenge for students. My experience has trained me to follow style guides and formats like MLA, APA, and Chicago.

My hourly rate is typically $20-30 per hour. This range depends on subject matter, age of the student, and level of intensity in study.
