About
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this! I want to help you succeed. Not just in your current course and semester, but in the rest of your academic endeavors. This includes building long-term, sustainable academic habits that focus on instilling you with an inherent know-how for how to achieve great success in both your academics and beyond the classroom.
I've been helping Elementary, Middle, and High school students with English, Math, Science, and preparatory testing for the past 4 years, so you can be sure that I have plenty of experience to ensure your success.
Currently, I am a Duke undergraduate double majoring in Philosophy and Computer Science. If you want further proof of my aptitude in preparing you for your academic career, I was accepted to half of the Ivy League schools but chose to attend Duke for the culture!
Helping anyone in whatever capacity that I can do so is, in my opinion, a great blessing. If you speak to any of my peers or my former students, you will know that I do not hesitate to give it my all in ensuring that you succeed in whatever endeavor it is you embark in. Moreover, I'm there for you not just as a mentor or a tutor, but also as a friend and a human being.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We will begin be overlooking their past academic performance, discussing their current and future goals, and researching the teacher that is currently instructing the course. All of these will factor into forming both a short-term and long-term study plan to not just succeed in the current course but also in any future course the student must take on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have personally gone through and succeeded in the rigorous academics that the student will have to face. Therefore, I have hands-on experience that many older adults do not have and are detached from.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard pricing varies depending on the details of the lessons. If the lessons are travel-based, then, as I do not have a car, the pricing will be higher. If the lessons are online then they will be much more standard, perhaps $15-$20 depending on the needs of the student.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching because I simply enjoyed it! I loved to help younger students with their homework in Math, English, and/or Science. Then I began to expand my work based on recommendations.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with elementary schoolers, middle schoolers, high schoolers, and even North Korean refugees and Thailand orphans. All of these experiences will ensure that I can adapt to your specific needs as a student.
