I am a current medical student at UNC. I studied Chemistry and Exercise and Sport Science at UNC and graduated in 2017. I excelled in my science courses and enjoyed them too! I’m passionate about the material and well versed in helping people through tutoring. With experience in both group and one on one sessions, Im able to meet people where they’re at and help them grow in learning as well as organization. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I want the student to be engaged and active in the whole process from start to finish. I suggest students come with practice tests, old exams, etc. that we can walk through together and determine target areas to focus on. Then, we can address those target areas together. I hope to establish and teach a routine that enables tutees to development learning skills to succeed well beyond time we spend together.
