What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We talk about the course, review the materials covered ( go through notebooks and previous work) and then look at current topic. We BOTH need to see your work and steps in detail. That's when we identify and fix issues in understanding.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
National board certification in High School mathematics. Mathematics teacher 20 years (middle school - college). Texas Instruments trainer in workshops

What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught at alternative schools, inner-city schools, and rural schools. My passion is working with students who think they just can't get it. Math can be easy!!

Find someone who listens to you, helps you to understand your own thinking, and works with you to understand the material
