I take the time to get to know students and identify their learning styles. As a teacher for over 20 years, I know the importance of addressing subjects in a way that a student will actually learn.
I have a background in Human Resources, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Management. I work with students, employees, and entrepreneurs. I am innovative in presenting material and my desire if that all clients leave sessions thinking critically and creatively.
I enjoy being a part of the education journey. I share with students all the time that my goal is for them to be successful in my class and life long term.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I have a consultation first. Getting to know the student to address the learning style that may work best for the student and then we map out a plan on how to move forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Ph.D. in Organization and Management. An Executive MBA and a Bachelor's in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources Management.
I have worked with youth and adults in various capacities. I have been a substitute instructor for grades K-12. I am currently a professor teaching various courses. I enjoy teaching and being a part of the education journey.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$35 per lesson is the usual price. There are situations where the price may increase or decrease depending on the need.

What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked K-12 as well as collegiate students. I have provided training for companies also with a diversified adult population.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was helping some of the neighborhood students during the COVID pandemic. These were Elementry students but I used figurines of animals and acted out scenarios to help with writing and math assignments.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would encourage you to ask questions. Be clear on what your desires are so that you get a good "fit" as far as personality and end goals.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do you want to accomplish at the end of a lesson? At the end of taking lessons for a month and so on?
Be clear about your expectations.
