Toshino Tutoring

I'm currently a student at Walden University majoring in Elementary Education. I worked in education for four years, tutoring students and helping parents understand the Common Core standards more easily. I enjoy working with children and will help them with homework whenever possible. I also work as a babysitter and take that time to show children that learning can be fun. I have learned different methods of teaching materials to students because each child is unique in their learning abilities. I have also tutored adults in learning English and helped them write papers. Education is essential, and seeing students succeed brings me enjoyment. I'm very patient and know how to slow a lesson down and explain it to students when the teacher may not have the time to do it in class. My tutoring is unique because I use different methods like play-based learning to help students retain the materials and slow the lesson down so they can comprehend what they are learning.
