Mariallen Moore

Hello! I have been teaching for 3 years now at a high school level. I have taught English I, English IV, SREB, Accelerated English I, Creative Writing, and Mississippi Writers. Prior to teaching I was a substitute teacher for K-12 for a year and tutored in reading and writing. I have a Masters in Secondary Education from Mississippi State University. I have had ample experience of educating and tutoring kids across all levels of their education journey. Current curriculum, standards, and methods are fresh on my mind because I am currently in a classroom applying my skills as a teacher. I have learned to hone in on each student's learning style and decipher which skills work best for them. I get to know the kids I work with so that I can create a conducive learning environment for the student. Being the catalyst in a child's learning is by far one of my greatest joys in life.
