About
I recently completed the first two years of medical school academics at the UMMC School of Medicine. I became an intelligence officer in the Marines after graduating from Tulane University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree with Spanish language minor. While in the Marines, I served in Iraq & Afghanistan. In addition, I spent two years at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA, where I qualified as a linguist in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
I know this subject matter can be incredibly overwhelming, confusing, and sometimes quite stressful! I can adapt to your pace and assist you in accomplishing your academic goals, while also relating the material so that you can retain your knowledge long-term. Using a versatile and effective visual aid platform such as powerpoint, the tutoring will be specifically tailored and focused to address your specific needs and academic goals. Whether you have a targeted set of "trouble topics" that you want to check off one by one, or you are starting at page 1, day 1 in a certain class or subject, I will always give 100% in my role as your "academic success coach"!
